| Gewurztraminer is best when fully mature and Hogue make sure this is the case before harvesting in September/October, when exactly depending on the individual vineyard site. The relatively dry climate allows the grapes to be left on the vine until the optimum moment. A cold slow fermentation is employed to help preserve the fruity characteristics of the variety and no oak is used .Lychees and rose petals are reflected on a rich palate with spicy and aromatic notes.
